Webbcam is Philadelphia’s last pro camera store. They have been around forever and know their stuff. Please shop there, we need at least one store we can go to! They are located at 12th and Vine.
Philadelphia Photographics is our lab of choice. We have used them professionally for over 15 years. You can upload files or mail your disk to them to have prints made.
Flickr is a very popular photo sharing site and is free. Post and share family and/or fine art work with everyone. There are fine art groups to join for beginners or masters of every kind of photography. You can meet and share your work with photographers from around the world. They also offer prints, etc.
Photoshop is the premiere software for manipulating digital images. They offer a subscription for around $10 a month to get Lightroom, Photoshop and Bridge for 2 computers. I don”t know any professional photographer who doesn’t own and use PS. I regularly teach Photoshop at Philadelphia Photo Arts Center .
Philadelphia Photo Arts Center offers Philadelphia’s best photo gallery, inkjet printing, as well as classes galore on all things photography. I teach classes there on Photoshop/Lightroom, lighting, composition, color, flash and phone photography.
